Thousands of New Mexico students are were given the opportunity to experience the Da Vinci—The Genius exhibition New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science in 2017. Many were becoming aware, perhaps for the first time, of the depth and breadth of da Vinci’s genius in so many diverse disciplines. SmartMarketing was tasked with branding and execution of a video contest through press placements, social media, marketing and strategic partnerships with schools. The contest, “Da Vinci – The Genius in Me: Solutions for a Better Tomorrow” presented students with the opportunity to explore their own genius by creating a two to four minute video showcasing the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) into their education, and offering solutions for a better tomorrow utilizing principles taught through a STEAM education. The contest was a success and our client, The New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation was thrilled.
